Family structures are mostly traditional, with 50.5% of households being couples with children. One-parent families are among the lowest in the region at 7.3%.

Housing is dominated by detached houses (98.4%), and a far higher proportion of people own their homes outright (57.2%) compared to the national figure.

The area is heavily car-dependent, with 0.8% of homes having no vehicle. Working from home is very common at 35.5%, which is far above the national average.

The population is quite stable, as far fewer people moved in the last five years (30.1%) compared to the national average of 40.7%.

Fewer adults are working or looking for work (54.4%) compared to the state, but the unemployment rate is very low at 2.6%.
