First Nations people make up 683 residents, and the community's typical personal income of $545 is about the same as the national figure.

One-parent families are much more common here at 22.2%, well above the national average of 14.1%. Additionally, 29.1% of people live alone.

The area is almost entirely made up of separate houses (94.8%), and 41.8% of these are owned outright, which is far above the national figure of 31.0%.
