There are no Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living here, which is lower than in most similar areas.

Households are typically small, with only 1.8 people per home. This is driven by the high number of people living alone, who make up 38.6% of the community.

Home ownership is exceptionally high, with 86.0% of houses owned outright. Most are large separate houses with three or more bedrooms, and typical monthly mortgage payments are among the highest at $3,000.
