First Nations people here have a typical personal income of $735 and a Year 12 completion rate of 44.7%, both of which are well above the state and national averages.

Small households are the norm here, with 43% of people living alone. This is far above the national figure and contributes to a low average of 1.9 people per home.

Renters make up 49.2% of households, far more than in the rest of the state. Detached houses are rare, and only 46% of homes have three or more bedrooms.

Public transport use is very high, with 11.8% of people commuting this way. This is supported by the fact that 10.6% of homes have no motor vehicle, a figure well above the national average.

The area is very dynamic, with 52.3% of the population moving in the last five years. Recent overseas arrivals also make up a high 17.4% of the community.

Working or looking for work is common here, with 72.2% of adults active in the labour market. Full-time employment is also well above the national average at 64.3%.

The area is very walkable, with a score of 7.0. Nearly every home is within a 10-minute walk of public transport, and over 80% are close to groceries and health services.
