The First Nations community is quite young, with a typical age of just 15. It is also very culturally strong, with 44.2% of First Nations people speaking a First Nations language, far above the state average.

Families and couples make up the majority of homes, with 45.8% being couples with children and 40.3% being couples without. Most households are small, typically containing two people.
