First Nations residents are noticeably younger than the national average, with a typical age of 17. Their personal and household incomes are far above the state and national figures.

Families with children make up 52.6% of households, and the typical home contains 2.5 people, which is exactly in line with the state and national averages.

Home ownership is strong, with 45.3% of homes owned outright, far above the national average. However, those with mortgages face high costs, as the typical monthly payment is $2,200.

The area is heavily dependent on cars, yet 22.3% of people work from home, which is well above the state average. Very few people use public transport to commute.

The community is quite mobile, with 44.4% of people having moved in the last five years. In contrast, recent arrivals from overseas are far less common than in the rest of Australia.

While many residents are professionals (32.9%), the full-time employment rate is far below the state and national figures, consistent with the area's older population.
