Homes are larger than usual, with an average of 2.9 people per household. This is consistent with the high number of couples with children, who make up 60.8% of families.

Most people live in separate houses, and 94.3% of homes have three or more bedrooms. Renting is more common than average, and typical weekly rents of $510 are well above the national figure.

Car use is dominant, as 69% of workers drive to work and only 0.7% use public transport. Very few homes lack a motor vehicle, and working from home is less common than the national average.

Movement into the area is extremely high, with 94.6% of people having moved here in the last five years. This includes recent overseas arrivals, who make up 27.2% of the population.

A high number of adults are working or looking for work compared to similar areas. Many residents work in health care and social assistance, as well as construction and retail.

While almost every home is within a short walk of a park or school, the area is mostly car-dependent. There are almost no grocery stores or health services within a 15-minute walk.
