Participation in unpaid care for children is a little above the state average. Additionally, more people here have served in the Defence Force compared to most similar areas.

The First Nations community is quite large, with 158 people. Those identifying as First Nations have a typical personal income of $612, which is a little above the national figure.

Homes here are larger than usual, with 2.7 people per home. This is consistent with the high number of couples with children, who make up 54.4% of households.

The area is dominated by separate houses, which make up 97% of all dwellings. Homes with three or more bedrooms are far more common here than in the rest of Australia.

Most people rely on cars to get to work, as no one in the area commutes by public transport. However, the area has a high number of public transport stops relative to its population.

The community is quite mobile, with 42% of people moving in the last five years. Recent arrivals from overseas are also far more common here than in the rest of the state.

Construction, health care, and food services are the main industries. The rate of full-time employment is lower than the national average, and the unemployment rate is slightly higher than most similar areas.

The area is somewhat walkable, and many homes are within a 15-minute walk of health services and groceries. However, nearly half of the homes are more than 15 minutes away from a school.
