Residents are generally healthier than the national average, with lower rates of long-term health conditions (26.0%) and fewer people needing help with daily activities (4.4%).

This area has a high number of volunteers (17.6%) and a much higher proportion of Defence Force veterans (3.9%) than most other areas. Unpaid childcare is also more common here than the state average.

The area is heavily reliant on cars, with 71.9% of people driving to work and only 0.4% using public transport. Very few homes (3.8%) lack a motor vehicle.

The community is highly mobile, with 54.4% of people moving house in the last five years. This is far above the national average and is consistent with the high number of recent overseas arrivals (22.5%).
