The area has one of the lowest rates of people needing help with daily activities at 2.5%. While 30.7% of people have a long-term health condition—which is a little above the national figure—mental health conditions are much lower than in most areas.

Volunteering is very common here, with 25% of people helping out, far above the national rate of 14.1%. About 29.3% of residents also spend 15 or more hours a week on unpaid housework.

Nearly half of all households are couples with children, while 45.2% are couples without children. One-parent families make up only 8.0% of the community, which is much lower than most other areas.

The area is almost entirely made up of separate houses, with 64% owned outright—a rate far above the national average. Most homes are large, with 82.7% having three or more bedrooms.

Car use is essential, as 0% of people use public transport to commute and 98.9% of homes have at least one motor vehicle. Many people work from home, with 23.2% of the workforce doing so.

The area is mostly car-dependent, with a walkability score of 3.6. While most homes are near a park, none are within a 15-minute walk of a school, and many lack easy access to groceries and health services.
