Typical personal income is $1,079 a week, which is well above the national figure. Household incomes are also strong, with 24.3% of homes earning $3,000 or more weekly.

Residents experience fewer health issues than most areas, with only 18.6% having a long-term health condition. This is well below the national figure of 27.7%.

A high number of former Defence Force members live here, at 7.9%, which is well above the national average. However, volunteering rates are lower than in most similar areas.

The First Nations community is young, with a typical age of 21. While 24.7% speak a First Nations language, the unemployment rate for this group is 15.5%, which is well above the national figure.

Homes tend to be larger than usual, with an average of 2.8 people per dwelling. One-parent families make up 20.9% of households, a figure much higher than most areas.

Rental properties are very common, with 59.5% of households renting, far above the national average. Most homes are separate houses with three or more bedrooms.

The area is heavily reliant on cars, as 72.1% of people drive to work and there are no public transport stops. Only 3.2% of people work from home, which is far below the national figure.

The population is very mobile, with 49.3% of people having moved in the last five years. This is well above the national figure, alongside a high number of recent overseas arrivals.

Full-time employment is very high at 72.7%, which is far above the national average. Many residents work in public administration, safety, health or education.

The area is mostly car-dependent, with a walkability score far below the Northern Territory average. While almost everyone is within a short walk of a park, very few can walk to health services or groceries.
