Renting is the primary way people live here, with 50.7% of households renting, far above the state average. While most are separate houses, typical weekly rents of $225 are well below the national figure.

Public transport is widely used, with 6.7% of people commuting by bus—well above the state average. This is supported by a very high number of transit stops and the fact that 13.1% of homes have no motor vehicle.
