Participation in unpaid work is very high, with 26.8% of people volunteering and 31.6% doing significant unpaid housework, both figures far above the national average.

First Nations residents are older than those in the rest of the state, with a typical age of 37. Their household and personal incomes are far above the state and national figures.

Homes tend to be larger than usual, with 2.7 people per dwelling. One-parent families and people living alone are much less common here than in most other areas.

Every home in the area is a separate house, and 96% have three or more bedrooms. Ownership is strong, with 45.5% owned outright, far above the national figure.

The area is entirely car-dependent, as there are no public transport stops or routes. Most homes have two or more vehicles, and 64.9% of workers commute by car.

About 33.7% of residents moved in the last five years, which is higher than most similar areas. There have been no recent arrivals from overseas.

Working or looking for work is more common here than in most areas, though full-time employment is well below the state average. Local jobs are concentrated in construction and healthcare.

Recorded offences are among the lowest at this level, although the crime rate has seen a high increase over the last five years.

The area is car-dependent with a very low walkability score. There are no grocery stores, schools, or health services within a 15-minute walk.
