The First Nations community is quite young, with a typical age of just 12 years. While there are 40 First Nations people living here, none reported speaking a First Nations language.

Homes tend to be larger, with 2.7 people per household. One-parent families are much more common than in most areas, and very few people live alone.

Almost every home is a separate house, and 81.4% have three or more bedrooms. While typical rents and mortgage payments are well below the national figures, the area has a higher rate of renters than most.

The area is entirely car-dependent, with no public transport stops or routes. Every single home has at least one motor vehicle, and the drive time to the city is very long at 116 minutes.
