About 5% of the population are First Nations people, which is a little above the national average. The typical personal income for this group is $575, which is about the same as the national figure.

The community has a high rate of one-parent families at 17.0%, which is higher than most areas. However, people living alone are less common here than in the wider state.

Every home in the area is a separate house, and 92.6% have three or more bedrooms. This is far above the national average, and many residents own their homes outright.

The area is entirely car-dependent, with no one commuting by public transport and every home owning at least one vehicle. This is reflected in the long 78-minute walk to the nearest transit stop.
