Typical weekly household income is $1,708, which is about the same as the national figure. However, very few households earn $3,000 or more per week compared to the rest of the state.

Residents experience more health challenges than most, with 33.1% reporting a long-term health condition and 11.3% living with a mental health condition.

Volunteering is very common here, with 29.7% of people pitching in, which is far above the national average of 14.1%.

There are three First Nations people in the area. While their household income is well above the state average, their typical personal income is among the lowest at this level.

The area is mostly made up of couples, with 52.3% having children and 42.3% without. Single-parent families are much rarer here than in most other areas.

Home ownership is very high, with 50.9% of homes owned outright. Renting is far less common than in the rest of the state, with only 10.9% of households paying rent.

The community is entirely dependent on cars; there are no public transport stops or routes, and every single home owns at least one motor vehicle.

The population is very stable, with only 14.7% of people moving in the last five years, which is far below the national rate.

Many residents work in agriculture, forestry, construction, or the energy sector. The unemployment rate is 5.6%, which is slightly higher than the national average.

The area is completely car-dependent with a walkability score of zero. There are no grocery stores, schools, or health services within a 15-minute walk.
