Hope Island

Spanning over 55 square kilometres of the Gold Coast region, Hope Island is an affluent and rapidly growing community. It is a remarkably older area than most, with a typical resident aged 50 and over a quarter of the population being seniors. This wealth is evident in the high proportion of homes owned outright and the strong presence of high-income earners. The area has expanded quickly, adding about 6,000 people since 2011 to create a prosperous, predominantly older residential hub.
