Birthplace diversity is a standout feature, as 51.5% of residents were born overseas—far above the 27.7% national average. Indian and Chinese ancestry are particularly prominent alongside English and Australian heritage.

A wide variety of languages are spoken here, with 46.6% of people using a language other than English at home. This is much higher than most areas, with Mandarin, Hindi, and Punjabi being the most common non-English languages.

Religious affiliation is more common here than in most other areas; 31.3% of residents report no religion, which is well below the national figure of 38.9%. Hinduism is a significant faith in the community, held by 10.9% of people.

Residents are highly qualified, with 39.5% holding a bachelor degree or higher, far above the national average of 26.3%. This high level of education is reflected in the local workforce, where professionals and managers are the most common occupations.

Household earnings are much higher than typical, with 35% of homes earning $3,000 or more a week. The typical weekly household income of $2,381 is well above both the state and national figures.

The community is in very good health, as those with long-term health conditions (16.3%) and mental health conditions (4.5%) are among the lowest across similar areas.

Family care is a priority here, with 38.5% of people caring for children unpaid, which is far above the national figure. However, volunteering is much lower than usual, falling to 9.2% since 2016.

While almost everyone lives within a short walk of a park or public transport, the area is less walkable for daily needs. Only about half of homes are within a 15-minute walk of groceries, and only 16% are near health services.
