While 18.5% of residents have a long-term health condition—which is well below the national figure—the area has a much higher rate of people needing help with daily activities at 7.2%.

Volunteering is low at 6.5%, well below the national average of 14.1%. Similarly, the proportion of people providing unpaid care is much lower than in most similar areas.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people make up 0.6% of the population. Among this group, 12.2% speak a First Nations language, which is well above the state average.

Homes here are crowded, with 3.5 people per home, well above the national average. This is consistent with the high number of families with children, who make up 71.9% of households.

Working from home has surged since 2016, now accounting for 24.5% of the workforce. While 100% of homes are within a 10-minute walk of public transport, very few people (3.1%) actually use it to commute.

Residents have excellent access to parks and public transport within a 15-minute walk. However, walkability is hampered by a lack of nearby groceries and health services, both of which are far below state levels.
