West and North West and South East are both large regions in Tasmania, but they differ sharply in their layout and environment. West and North West is much more walkable, with 51.6% of homes within a 15-minute walk of various amenities, compared to just 22.7% in South East. This is reflected in their walkability scores, where West and North West is somewhat walkable while South East is mostly car-dependent.
