Stanley Village vs Wee Waa

Stanley Village and Wee Waa are both small rural areas in New South Wales, but they offer very different lifestyles. Wee Waa is very walkable and highly connected, with 96.2% of homes within a 15-minute walk of a school and 88.2% near groceries. In contrast, Stanley Village is car-dependent, where only 0.3% of homes are within a 15-minute walk of a school or groceries. These differences extend to their First Nations populations; the typical First Nations resident in Stanley Village is far older at 37, while in Wee Waa they are typically 23. Year 12 completion for First Nations people is also far higher in Wee Waa at 29.4%, compared to 17.1% in Stanley Village.
