Moree - West vs Stanley Village

Moree - West and Stanley Village are neighbouring areas in New South Wales with very different levels of local access. Moree - West is much more connected to essential services, with 38.2% of homes within a 15-minute walk of groceries and 11.5% near a school, compared to just 0.3% for both in Stanley Village. First Nations residents in Moree - West also have higher typical personal incomes of $628 and a higher Year 12 completion rate of 30.7%, while Stanley Village figures are $454 and 17.1% respectively.

These two areas have followed a similar path since 2011, remaining largely car-dependent with very few homes in a 15-minute-city walkshed.
