Coombs and Duffy are neighbouring areas in the Australian Capital Territory with very different profiles. Coombs is a young, fast-growing area where the typical resident is 30 and 42.6% of people were born overseas. It has a high proportion of newer, smaller homes, with townhouses and flats being much more common than in Duffy. In contrast, Duffy is an older community where the typical resident is 39 and 16.5% of the population are seniors.
