Light and Wright are two South Australian areas with similar population sizes, but they differ sharply in layout and mobility. Wright is far more walkable, with 86.6% of homes having a 15-minute-city walkshed compared to 43.9% in Light. Wright also has much higher access to essential services, with 81.3% of homes within a short walk of health services compared to only 34.5% in Light. In contrast, Light has seen much more movement recently, with 42.2% of people moving in the last five years compared to 29.4% in Wright.
