Maitland and Myall Lakes are two very different New South Wales areas. Maitland is a younger hub with a typical resident aged 36 and a high proportion of children under 15 (21.4%). In contrast, residents in Myall Lakes are far older, with a typical age of 52 and 31.8% of the population aged 65 and over.
