In contrast, Cumberland has a more varied mix, where only 52% are separate houses and 32.4% are flats or apartments. These two areas have tracked in opposite directions since 2011, with Camden seeing its population grow by 22% since 2021 and a widening gap in home ownership and high incomes. Despite these trends, they remain alike in some ways, such as having a similar number of people per home and similar school advantage scores. While Cumberland is much more diverse, the gap in the share of people born overseas has narrowed slightly since 2016.
