Ali Curung vs Tara

Ali Curung and Tara are two remote areas in the Northern Territory. Ali Curung is far larger and more developed for pedestrians, with a walkability score of 4.3 (somewhat walkable) compared to 0.9 (car-dependent) in Tara. In Ali Curung, nearly all homes are within a 15-minute walk of schools, parks and groceries, whereas Tara has no homes within that distance. Ali Curung also has a larger First Nations population and a higher share of people who speak a First Nations language, at 79.8% compared to 67.7% in Tara.
