Knuckey Lagoon vs Driver

Knuckey Lagoon and Driver are neighbouring areas in the Northern Territory with very different levels of accessibility. Driver is very walkable, with 99.8% of homes within a 15-minute walk of groceries and 100% within 10 minutes of public transport. In contrast, Knuckey Lagoon is car-dependent, where only 1.9% of homes are near groceries. There are also significant gaps for First Nations residents; those in Driver have a typical personal income of $661, far higher than the $373 typical for those in Knuckey Lagoon. This is consistent with higher Year 12 completion in Driver at 37.3%, compared to 19.2% in Knuckey Lagoon.
