Karama vs Knuckey Lagoon

Karama and Knuckey Lagoon are neighbouring areas with very different layouts. Karama is very walkable, with 100% of homes within a 15-minute walk of a school and a park. In contrast, Knuckey Lagoon is car-dependent, where only 3.4% of homes are near a school. There are also strong differences for First Nations residents; those in Karama have a typical personal income of $584, which is well higher than the $373 typical in Knuckey Lagoon.
