Barron vs Mantaka

Barron and Mantaka are nearby Queensland areas with very different profiles. Barron is a larger community where First Nations people have a typical household income of $1,987, which is far higher than the $1,083 typical in Mantaka. First Nations residents in Barron also have higher rates of Year 12 completion at 55.7% compared to 44.0% in Mantaka, and 15.3% speak a First Nations language while none do in Mantaka.
