Nearly one in five people in Not in any Significant Urban Area (NSW) volunteer, a rate well above the national figure. While community spirit remains high, the number of volunteers fell by 5.3 percentage points since 2011. This area shows a strong pattern of unpaid work and service compared to most other parts of the country.
