The languages spoken in homes across the area, beyond English.
Language diversity has grown in 20,000 to 49,999, with the share of people using another language at home nearly doubling since 2011. While most residents speak only English, the area is now more linguistically diverse than it was a decade ago. This shift occurs despite the region remaining far less diverse than the national average.
