Nearly 30% of people in Cooper provide unpaid childcare, making it an area with high levels of community and family support. This commitment to others is seen across the board, from high rates of volunteering to a notable number of Defence Force veterans. While some of these trends have dipped since 2011, the area remains very active in providing unpaid care.
