Community Participation in The Entrance
How people contribute — volunteering, unpaid care and domestic work, and defence service.
Over a quarter of people in The Entrance provide unpaid childcare, making it the most common form of community contribution. While many residents support their families and homes, the area has seen a decline in formal volunteering over the last decade. This mix of unpaid work and service reflects a community focused largely on domestic and family responsibilities.
