Public administration and safety is the biggest employer at 28.0%, followed by health care and social assistance at 16.1% and education and training at 15.8%. Retail trade and mining also employ around 10% of the workforce each.

Community and personal service workers make up the largest group at 26.6%, while professionals account for 23.1%. Labourers, managers, and technicians or tradespeople make up the rest of the workforce.
