More than a quarter of people in postcode 2022 use a language other than English at home, which is well above the national figure. This linguistic diversity has grown over the last decade, though very few residents struggle with English proficiency.

English and the largest community languages.
About 25.6% of residents speak another language at home, a figure that rose from 22.5% in 2011. While English is used by 67.9%, others include Mandarin (3.2%), Italian (1.6%), Cantonese (1.1%), and Greek (1.1%). Only 2.4% of people speak little or no English, which is a little below the New South Wales and national figures.
