Daily life in both places is similar in that neither area has a school or health service within a 15-minute walk, and nobody commutes by public transport. Many gaps between the two have narrowed since 2011, such as the difference in typical age and the share of people aged 65 and over. However, the gap in people with no religion has widened, and Moyhu has seen its lead in working or looking for work grow since 2011.
