Tarneit (Western Metropolitan) and Sydenham (Western Metropolitan) are two nearby areas in Victoria with very different profiles. Tarneit is a young and diverse hub where 52.7% of people were born overseas and 58.2% use another language at home. It has a high share of university graduates (34.1%) and a very high proportion of recent arrivals from overseas (21.3%).
