Daly vs Manton

Manton and Daly are both sparsely populated areas in the Northern Territory. Manton has a small population of 87 people, while Daly is largely non-residential with no recorded residents. The two areas differ most in their landscapes and people; Daly has a much higher mean terrain slope of 15.9% compared to 3.6% in Manton, and Manton has a far larger number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with 52 residents.

Both areas are completely car-dependent, as neither has any homes within a 15-minute walk of parks, schools, groceries, or health services. This lack of nearby amenities is a shared trait for both places, which also lack public transport stops and routes.
