Tarcoola vs Wilgena

Wilgena and Tarcoola are both sparsely populated areas in South Australia. Wilgena is home to 40 people, including four Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents, while Tarcoola is largely non-residential with no recorded population.

Both areas are entirely car-dependent, as neither has any homes within a 15-minute walk of parks, schools, groceries, or health services. This shared lack of local amenities is consistent with the same basic landscape, though Tarcoola has a higher level of street connectivity.
