Jardine River vs Punsand

Punsand and Jardine River are both sparsely populated areas in far north Queensland. Punsand is the smaller of the two, with 19 people, while Jardine River has no residents. Punsand has far higher street connectivity, with two intersections per square kilometre compared to none in Jardine River.

Both areas have no schools, public transport, or transport stops within their boundaries. They are also alike in that neither area records any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents. The gap in street connectivity between these two locations has remained the same since 2011.
