Aurukun vs Holroyd River

Aurukun and Holroyd River are two very different parts of Queensland. Aurukun is home to 1,101 people, many of whom are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It is a young area where the typical resident is 29, though weekly family incomes are among the lowest at $785. In contrast, Holroyd River is sparsely populated with only four residents. Residents there are far older, with a typical age of 40, and the typical family income is far higher at $1,625.
