Tuggeranong is a family-focused area where 79.5% of homes are separate houses and 88.4% have three or more bedrooms. In contrast, South Canberra is much more urban, with 47.6% of people living in flats or apartments and a far higher share of residents living alone (34.5% compared to 22.7% in Tuggeranong).
