Clarence Valley and Tweed Valley are two New South Wales regions with very different landscapes. Tweed Valley is more developed, with far more people having completed Year 12 (45.9% compared to 34.6%) and a higher typical weekly rent of $400 against $310 in Clarence Valley. Infrastructure also differs sharply; Tweed Valley has far more public transport departures per 1,000 people (507.6 vs 239.6) and more homes within a 10-minute walk of transport. In contrast, Clarence Valley is more residential in nature, with far more separate houses (86.1% vs 66.0%) and a higher proportion of First Nations people at 8.1%.
