Educational attainment is also much higher in Humpty Doo - Elizabeth Valley, where 37.8% of First Nations residents finished Year 12, while only 19.0% did so in Kakadu - Marrakai - Surrounds.

Both areas have remained largely car-dependent over time, with almost no homes within a 15-minute walk of health services. While Humpty Doo - Elizabeth Valley has more access to schools, groceries, and public transport, the two areas have tracked similarly in their lack of a 15-minute-city walkshed. This gap in accessibility has persisted since 2011, leaving both places as areas where residents rely heavily on vehicles.
