Stratton - Jane Brook vs Northam

Northam and Stratton - Jane Brook are two Western Australian areas with very different layouts. In Stratton - Jane Brook, public transport is far more accessible, with 91.2% of homes within a 10-minute walk of a stop compared to just 13.4% in Northam. Northam however has more homes within a 15-minute walk of schools (73.5%) and health services (18.0%), whereas Stratton - Jane Brook has no homes within walking distance of health services. There are also significant gaps for First Nations residents; in Stratton - Jane Brook, 36.4% finished Year 12 and typical household income is $1,662, while in Northam, Year 12 completion is much lower at 21.1% and typical household income is $1,098.
