Karama vs Litchfield

Karama and Litchfield are two very different types of environments. Both areas are similar in their flat terrain, which sits near the national figure. In Karama, the First Nations population is younger and more likely to speak a First Nations language, while the unemployment rate for First Nations people is well higher than in Litchfield. This contrasts with Litchfield, where First Nations residents are far older and have a much lower unemployment rate. These gaps between the two areas have remained steady since 2011.
